Gawar itself is a net made from the roots of a rose tree. So for those of you who intend to catch fish on the Nglambor beach which is only held once a year, you must have a picture or net from a rose tree.
Another unique thing about the beach is the presence of fresh water that emerges from the cracks of rocks or coral cliffs in the sea. Apparently this fresh water comes from a karst tunnel in the form of a U pipe as an underground water channel.
To visit the Nglambor beach you are advised to use a private vehicle or tourism bus if one comes with the group because there is no village transportation or public transportation that reaches the Nglambor beach.
The public transportation that can be used is motorcycle taxi which is usually used from the parking location to the beach of Nglambor. This might also be triggered by the condition of Jalan Pantai Nglambor which has not been completely smooth.
If you don’t bring snorkeling equipment from your home you need to spend money to rent snorkeling equipment provided around the beach.
There are two places for rental equipment for snorkeling, namely the star Lambor snorkeling and diving Lestari. So don’t be afraid to run out of snorkeling equipment because there are two complete rental places.
The price for renting snorkeling equipment ranges from Rp. 35,000 to Rp. 50,000 depending on how many have the equipment you rent. Don’t forget to always prioritize safety when swimming or snorkeling.
